This notice, required by Japan's Act on Specified Commercial Transactions, covers our paid general consultation (1,000 yen per 30 minutes).

Donations are not given in exchange for anything, so they are not covered by this notice. For donations, please see the Support Us page.

Service	Online consultation (general consultation) with a certified care worker about caregiving, disability support, and welfare in general. For details, please see the Consultation page.
Fee	General consultation: 1,000 yen per 30 minutes (tax included) Up to 120 minutes per session. Inquiries are free. Young carers, people receiving public assistance, and people struggling financially can consult free of charge. People living in hikikomori (social withdrawal) may also consult free of charge, depending on their circumstances. If you use the desk for 60 minutes or more and are willing to let us publish your feedback (anonymously if you prefer), we take 1,000 yen off. The Digital Shelter (emergency refuge, urgent consultation and similar) is free.
Other costs	Internet connection charges, and bank transfer fees if you pay by bank transfer, are paid by you.
Payment methods	Credit card (Square / PayPal), bank transfer, JPYC We can issue a qualified invoice (registration number T1810059174784).
When you pay	You pay after the consultation. You never pay before the consultation.
When the service is provided	At the date and time you booked. Consultation by appointment: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (JST). Please book at least 3 hours in advance. A place to run to late at night: 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. (JST). No appointment is needed. We have no regular closing days (we may close temporarily for illness, injury and the like).
How to apply	Please apply through the booking form. From 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. (JST), you can also come straight to the desk in the metaverse without booking.
Cancelling or changing a booking	You can cancel or change the date and time before the consultation. Please let us know on your private page or by email. There is no cancellation fee.
Refunds	You pay after the consultation, and only for the time you actually consulted. For this reason, we do not give refunds after payment. However, if you pay by mistake, for example if you pay twice, we will return that amount.
What you need	A device that can connect to the internet, such as a computer or smartphone. The desk in the metaverse runs in a web browser, with nothing to install.
